| The directors of ETC created the position of Director of Foreign Instructors and appointed myself to this task in an effort to add stability and accountancy to the programs being offered at the institute. In this position I introduced both a peer review scheme for instructors and a mechanism by which students could comment on the performance of their instructors. Working with my Korean counterpart, I also restructured the instructor course scheduling process and the method by which students were placed into appropriate courses. These tasks accomplished, I resumed my teaching duties in May 1997. |
